
Guiding the Central European Fair Alliance
The Central European Fair Alliance (CEFA) is governed by a dedicated Board of Directors and elected officers who work to advance the organization’s mission across Central and Southeastern Europe.
Board of Directors
Elected for a three-year term by the General Assembly, the Board of Directors consists of four key roles:
President
Leads the Board and convenes the General Assembly and Board meetings. Represents CEFA in all external matters and plays a central role in strategic direction and international representation.
Responsibilities:
- Chairs the General Assembly and Board meetings
- Represents CEFA publicly and to partner institutions
- Oversees strategic planning

Vice-President
Supports the President and assumes presidential duties when the President is absent or unable to perform their role.
Responsibilities:
- Replaces the President when needed
- Supports governance functions

Secretary General
Handles daily operations and internal coordination. Acts as CEFA’s liaison to international institutions and organizes all CEFA events, seminars, and CEO think tanks.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees daily management and coordination
- Organizes CEFA events and communication
- Builds institutional relations and manages project partnerships

Treasurer
Responsible for CEFA’s financial health. Manages membership fee administration, annual budgeting, and the financial report submitted to the General Assembly.
Responsibilities:
- Manages all CEFA financial operations
- Issues invoices and collects fees
- Prepares the annual financial report and budget forecast
